Relationship evidence
Identity revision 1, last changed
- a declared affiliated site is a relationship the publisher states, not common ownership
- a declared provider account (gift cards, hiring, ordering) is a service relationship, not an affiliation
- a register party at the business's premises is a candidate operator until the Place and legal resolvers bind it
- a licensed operator of the business's premises operates those locations; it is not thereby the brand's owner
- an employer a job board names on the openings posts them; it is not thereby the owner or the operator
- an app's store seller or developer publishes the app; neither is thereby the restaurant's owner
- a menu that names a producer names it; it is not a supply contract, a volume or an exclusivity
- a mail or DMARC service domain in DNS is a technical service relationship, not an affiliation
- a group the site says it is part of is a public affiliation; the equity chain and buying rights are separate questions
- an organization that posts the openings, sells the app or holds a program account shares services with the business; that is not affiliation or ownership

Tuk Tuk then Duck Duck Oct 7, 2020

We’ve got a few events on our upcoming Sunday Dinner Series to check out! Thinking back to February, (which seems like a life time ago) when we held our Southern Roots Heritage Dinner, we will desperately miss the hugs of friends new and old as we celebrated some dang good food and wine together. But that doesn’t mean we plan on missing out on the laughter and fellowship of dining (at safe distances!) To kick off our upcoming events we are thrilled to be welcoming a good friend, Sam… (truncated)

The Magic of Jabez and Walter, or the Importance of First Footing Dec 27, 2017
For New Year’s Eve, a house planned its first footing, or First-Foot, so that a tall, dark and handsome man bearing cakes or coins would be the first after midnight to walk through the door. Such a man planting a “first foot” in the house meant good luck for the year.

A Christmas cookie for six generations Dec 7, 2017
We have a Christmas cookie streak going in our family and it ties me and, over the last few years, Willa, to my mother, grandmother and great-grandmother every Christmas. I think of them as I read their hand-written recipe cards for the Damn Good Sugar Cookies and the Ice Box Cookies.

Season's end Nov 6, 2017
It’s tempting to think of hibernating, retreating to the warmth of the wood stove, but much remains to harvest, including greens for salad and cooking, and autumn roots: potatoes, carrots, turnips, radishes, beets.

Growing close Jun 23, 2017
David and Arwen were living in the Washington, D.C., area, when they decided they needed to buy some land. “He started a community garden in our neighborhood and all of our neighbors called him ‘Farmer Dave,’” Arwen said. “That’s when the writing was on the wall that he needed land.”
