ICP-driven account discovery
Account discovery turns an ICP into a continuously growing set of qualified accounts and people. Lumitra finds net-new companies, resolves the correct entity, researches what’s missing, discovers role-relevant contacts, dedupes everything against your CRM, and carries rep feedback back into the same pipeline.
Coverage that compounds instead of a list that decays
More market coverage
Net-new ICP-fit companies are added continuously instead of relying on static purchased lists that overlap what you already own.
Less manual research
Companies arrive resolved and enriched before a rep has to investigate them — the first hour of every sequence stops being research.
Better contact selection
Role-relevant people, company-site-confirmed where possible, deduped before any enrichment spend — then verified with provenance before CRM writeback.
A closed feedback loop
CRM ownership, qualification, and contact reviews flow back in, improving the shared working set every cycle.
How it works
- Define ICP. The target market becomes explicit company and contact criteria used to judge every candidate — not a vibe in a rep’s head.
- Discover. ICP-fit companies are found continuously; Lumitra and the connected CRM are checked first, and records you already have are rejected instead of re-imported.
- Resolve & research. Brand, parent, operating-company, and ownership relationships are resolved before enrichment, and missing company context is filled without overwriting good data — the same resolution that powers CRM reconciliation.
- Find people. Role-relevant contacts are discovered, deduped by email, normalized LinkedIn URL, and normalized name, prioritized by company-site confirmation, and only the best net-new people are enriched.
- Sync & learn. Trusted records are written to the CRM with identifiers preserved, and ownership, qualification, and review feedback come back to improve the next round.
Typical GTM workflows
Continuous territory building · outbound account creation · new market or vertical expansion · contact discovery for existing account lists · list refresh and enrichment · rep qualification and contact-review feedback. Discovered accounts can also feed GTM Agents for research, routing, and follow-up without rebuilding account context.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from buying a list?
A purchased list is static and unresolved: it decays from the day it arrives, duplicates what you already have, and treats brands, parents, and subsidiaries as unrelated rows. Account discovery is continuous — the ICP becomes explicit criteria, net-new fits are found on an ongoing basis, every candidate is checked against Lumitra and your CRM for duplicates, and only net-new companies enter the pipeline.
What does 'entity resolution' mean here?
Before enrichment, Lumitra determines what a domain actually represents: the operating company, a brand, a parent or group, or a financially owned entity — and links those relationships. That prevents the classic failure where the same business shows up as three unrelated accounts, or where research lands on the holding company instead of the entity your reps sell to.
Does enrichment overwrite data we already trust?
No. Enrichment fills missing firmographic and research data without overwriting good existing information. The output is a clean canonical company record that later contact discovery and CRM work reuse — not a second competing version of the account.
How are contacts selected?
Discovery finds role-relevant people, removes anyone already known in Lumitra or your CRM, prioritizes people confirmed on the company's own site, and dedupes by email, normalized LinkedIn URL, and normalized name. Only the selected net-new contacts are enriched — enrichment spend goes to the people you'll actually work.
What closes the loop?
CRM handoff is two-way. Selected, trustworthy contacts sync to supported CRMs with their identifiers preserved, and company ownership, qualification decisions, and contact-review feedback flow back into Lumitra — so the next round of discovery operates on what reps actually learned.
