O-Marie with Alu Ko AacharO-Marie, also known as just "Waah" and "Barra" is another delicacy from the Newar community. A simplest and yet lamest, explanation is "It is lentil pancake". BUT, the ingredients make it something beyond a simple pancake. Lentil is soaked overnight and the next day, it is grounded with fresh ginger, garlic and some serrano pepper. The batter is garnished with some dill after which it is ready to be cooked into some delicious O-Marie over flat pan using olive oil. A side of Alu-Ko-Aachar is included. A cross between potato pickle and potato salad, it is the best thing one can make from boiled potato.Uber Eats$15.21
