Relationship evidence
Identity revision 1, last changed
- a declared affiliated site is a relationship the publisher states, not common ownership
- a declared provider account (gift cards, hiring, ordering) is a service relationship, not an affiliation
- a register party at the business's premises is a candidate operator until the Place and legal resolvers bind it
- a licensed operator of the business's premises operates those locations; it is not thereby the brand's owner
- an employer a job board names on the openings posts them; it is not thereby the owner or the operator
- an app's store seller or developer publishes the app; neither is thereby the restaurant's owner
- a menu that names a producer names it; it is not a supply contract, a volume or an exclusivity
- a mail or DMARC service domain in DNS is a technical service relationship, not an affiliation
- a group the site says it is part of is a public affiliation; the equity chain and buying rights are separate questions
- an organization that posts the openings, sells the app or holds a program account shares services with the business; that is not affiliation or ownership
- a supplier or charitable partner the site's own page names and links is the publisher's statement; it is not a contract, a volume, an exclusivity or a gift amount

Rockbot is building a People & Talent organization capable of operating at the same high standard on both halves of the function. The People side already has that leadership in place; Talent Acquisition is the remaining gap. Today, recruiting runs through a strong technical recruiter and a senior GTM recruiting consultant — a structure that has served us well, but wasn't built for permanent leadership, strategic senior-level search, or the operational maturity a high-performance company requires. We're hiring a Director, Talent Acquisition (Head of TA): a player-coach leader who will build the playbooks, training, and operating discipline that turn recruiting into a modern, AI-powered function, develop our hiring managers, and personally run our highest-impact searches. This is fundamentally a leadership hire — Rockbot hires roughly 25–30 people a year, more than half of them strategic, senior-level roles, and that mix is what demands dedicated leadership, not just more recruiters. What's missing is someone who can multiply the effectiveness of the people already here, modernize how we recruit, and raise the caliber of every hire Rockbot makes. Rockbot is 100% remote — one of our biggest advantages, and honestly one of our hardest things to get right. Recruiting, coaching hiring managers, and building team culture all take more intention without an office to fall back on. This role has to make remote hiring and remote leadership genuinely work, which takes real self-direction and energy, not just comfort with a laptop. Beyond building Talent Acquisition into a modern, high-performing function, this role has real room to grow. As the operating rhythms mature and TA proves out, there's an opportunity to expand influence into broader People strategy alongside the Director, People and VP, People & Talent — not just execute within TA's lane. What You'll Own: - Build and continuously improve a best-in-class Talent Acquisition function — the playbooks, systems, and operating rhythms recruiting runs on day to day. - Bring AI and automation deep into the recruiting workflow — sourcing, screening, scheduling, candidate communication, and reporting — in partnership with the technical recruiter leading the Ashby rollout, so the new tooling actually changes how the team works, not just what system it logs into. - Build and maintain leadership-level recruiting dashboards and reporting that give executives real visibility into pipeline health, hiring velocity, and hiring quality — not just activity counts. - Coach and develop hiring managers into stronger interviewers and talent assessors; raise interview quality and consistency across the company. - Lead and grow the recruiting team while staying personally hands-on with the company's highest-impact searches. - Personally run a focused portfolio of Rockbot's most critical searches: executive leadership, Director-level roles, Enterprise Sales/GTM leadership, and other business-critical or hard-to-fill positions. - Build trusted, consultative partnerships with executives and hiring managers across the business. - Use recruiting metrics and data to drive continuous improvement and organizational learning. What Success Looks Like: - A recruiting function operating at the same level as Rockbot's People organization. - Scalable systems, playbooks, and operating rhythms that don't depend on any one person. - AI genuinely embedded in day-to-day recruiting workflows — sourcing, screening, scheduling, reporting — not just discussed in theory. - Executives have real-time visibility into recruiting health through dashboards and reporting this person built or upgraded. - Hiring managers who have measurably become better interviewers and talent assessors. - Higher, more consistent hiring quality across the organization. - A recruiting team that's led well, and a leader who stays connected to the market through their own active search load. - Trusted partnerships with executives and hiring managers. - A culture of using metrics — not gut feel — to keep improving. Reporting & Team Structure: - Reports to the VP, People & Talent, who owns org design, workforce planning, employer brand, and hiring philosophy. This role owns execution: leading the recruiting team, building Recruiting Operations, coaching hiring managers, and personally leading the highest-stakes searches — the same operating model already in place on the People side (VP / Director partnership). - Leads Rockbot's in-house recruiting team, setting the day-to-day standard for how the company recruits. - Rockbot's senior technical recruiter is leading our transition to Ashby, our new ATS. This role doesn't own that migration — it owns what comes next: the playbooks, training, and operating rhythms that turn Ashby into a fully modern, AI-augmented recruiting workflow the whole team runs on. - Collaborates with Marketing and People on employer branding initiatives — brings recruiting's perspective and helps activate campaigns, without owning employer brand strategy itself (that stays with the VP, People & Talent). What We're Looking For: - High judgment — required, not a nice-to-have. This person will run executive-level searches, coach hiring managers on high-stakes calls, and sit close to sensitive people decisions; Rockbot needs to trust their calls without checking their work. - Experience across both technical and GTM/Sales recruiting — real depth in one with strong exposure to the other is fine; this is not a checklist hire. - Demonstrated operational capability, not just interest in it — you've built leadership-facing dashboards, reporting, and metrics that translated into real business decisions. Extra credit if you're already building and modernizing recruiting workflows with AI tooling today, not just planning to. - A track record building or scaling Recruiting Operations: process, tooling such as Ashby, Claude AI, JuiceBox, LinkedIn Recruiter or other AI sourcing tools, analytics, and vendor evaluation. - Executive search experience — you've personally led senior/executive-level searches, not just supported them. - Strong operational rigor paired with genuine intellectual curiosity — this role is as much systems-builder as recruiter. - A player-coach mentality: comfortable leading a small team while staying personally in the work. - The credibility to be a trusted advisor to executives and hiring managers, not an intake order-taker. - Comfort operating in a lean organization, where every Director leads through both strategy and execution. - Background at a high-bar, fast-moving company — tech, media, SaaS, or similar — where you've seen firsthand what modern, high-caliber Talent Acquisition looks like and can bring that standard to Rockbot. - Remote, with a preference for candidates based on the West Coast; open to the right person outside that footprint. - Self-driven, with real energy and initiative — Rockbot's fully remote model is one of our biggest advantages and one of our biggest challenges. This role needs someone who creates their own momentum and structure without an office around them, not someone who needs one. Note on fit: This isn't a checklist hire. Rockbot would rather have exceptional recruiting judgment, demonstrated operational and AI-forward chops, and executive partnership skills than a candidate who checks every box. A deep technical recruiter with outstanding Ops and AI leadership, or an exceptional GTM/executive recruiter with strong operational rigor, could each be the stronger long-term fit. We're looking for whoever is best equipped to build the next generation of Talent Acquisition at Rockbot. About Rockbot: Rockbot is an omnichannel media platform committed to elevating customer and employee experiences while fostering stronger connections in real-world spaces. Rockbot addresses the challenges businesses face in media management with integrated solutions spanning music, TV, digital signage, and advertising. Backed by leading investors including Google and Universal Music Group, Rockbot is the future of out-of-home media. For more information visit www.rockbot.com http://www.rockbot.com/. Compensation: Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The base compensation range for this role is $160,000–$175,000 in US Average markets and $195,000–$220,000 in SF/NYC markets. Final compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors, including experience, qualifications, role scope, and geographic market. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. Our Values: - Drive: We pursue our mission with relentless tenacity, passion, and optimism and inspire those around us to do the same. We love the journey and are on offense all the time. Yesterday was good enough for yesterday, but today we have to do even better. - Accountability: We take ownership of our promises, responsibilities, behaviors, and products, and we expect the same of others. Standing behind our mistakes, communicating honestly, and making things right creates trust and strong relationships. - Curiosity: We are hungry to learn and continually deepen our knowledge, skills, and understandings. We have a growth mindset and are intellectually curious. We challenge our beliefs and seek feedback and insights from others. The “Why” and “How” always matters. - Empathy: We embrace that no two people or businesses are the same. We strive to understand others as deeply as possible and feel their pains and passions. - Ingenuity: We work hard but we think smart. We bring creativity, technology, and practicality together to solve tough challenges. - Integrity: We say what we mean, and do what we say, simply, clearly, honestly. Rockbot is an Equal Opportunity Employer, but that’s just the start. We believe different perspectives help us grow and achieve more. That’s why we’re dedicated to hiring and developing the most talented and diverse team – which includes individuals with different backgrounds, abilities, identities and experiences.

ENTERPRISE SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR) WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Every day, millions of consumers engage with businesses in physical locations — from retailers and grocery stores to restaurants, gyms, hospitality venues, convenience stores, and healthcare providers. While digital advertising has transformed online experiences, physical businesses are only beginning to modernize how they engage customers and monetize their in-location media. Rockbot is helping define that future. We’re looking for an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is excited to open doors and create opportunities with some of the world’s largest brands. You’ll be an important part of our Enterprise Sales team, identifying and engaging high-value prospects, building relationships with key stakeholders, and generating qualified pipeline for our Enterprise Sales Directors. This role requires more than high-volume outreach. You’ll take the time to understand target accounts, identify the right people and opportunities, and create thoughtful, personalized outreach that gets attention. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Success means consistently creating qualified enterprise opportunities that have the potential to become long-term Rockbot customers. You’ll partner closely with our Chief Commercial Officer and Enterprise Sales Directors to identify, prioritize, and engage the enterprise organizations that represent Rockbot’s highest-value opportunities. You’ll combine strong research, curiosity, persistence, and personalized outreach to connect with the right stakeholders and build a healthy enterprise pipeline. YOU WILL - Build enterprise pipeline across retail, hospitality, restaurants, convenience, grocery, healthcare, and other multi-location industries. - Research target accounts to understand their business, organizational structure, priorities, leadership, and relevant initiatives. - Identify and engage key stakeholders, including decision-makers, champions, influencers, and executive sponsors. - Execute personalized, multi-channel outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, phone, events, referrals, and other channels. - Partner closely with Enterprise Sales Directors to prioritize target accounts and develop effective outreach strategies. - Qualify prospective customers and create strong handoffs to the Enterprise Sales team. - Track outreach, activity, account intelligence, and opportunities accurately in Salesforce. - Test and refine messaging and outreach approaches based on what generates engagement and qualified opportunities. WHO WILL THRIVE HERE You’re curious, organized, persistent, and energized by opening new doors. You like learning about a company before reaching out and can turn that research into relevant, compelling outreach. You communicate confidently, aren’t afraid to pick up the phone, and know that enterprise prospecting often takes persistence and multiple touchpoints. You’re motivated by creating opportunities and enjoy working closely with experienced sales leaders to turn great target accounts into real conversations. YOU HAVE - Bachelor’s degree required. - 2–5 years of sales development, business development, outbound sales, or related prospecting experience. - Experience generating qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting; enterprise prospecting experience strongly preferred. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong research, organization, and follow-through. - Confidence engaging senior and executive-level stakeholders. - Experience with Salesforce and sales prospecting or engagement tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Apollo, or similar platforms. - Ability to manage multiple accounts and prospecting priorities simultaneously. - A track record of persistence, curiosity, and comfort working toward measurable pipeline goals. - Experience selling into multi-location businesses or enterprise organizations is a plus. - ENTERPRISE SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR) WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Every day, millions of consumers engage with businesses in physical locations — from retailers and grocery stores to restaurants, gyms, hospitality venues, convenience stores, and healthcare providers. As the Tier 2 Technical Support Specialist at Rockbot, you'll serve as the technical backbone of Rockbot's escalation function — the person the team turns to when issues are complex, environments are nuanced, or recurring problems require durable, systemic solutions. This is a deeply hands-on technical support role for someone who enjoys solving hard problems, improving systems, and making the entire support organization stronger over time. You'll own Rockbot's most advanced support scenarios across networking, firewall configuration, hardware, player setup, connectivity, and enterprise environments while also serving as a key partner in evolving our AI-enabled support operations. With the rollout of Zendesk AI Co-Pilot and related automation tooling, you'll help optimize how support operates at scale — improving triage, workflows, agent efficiency, self-service experiences, and data quality. Just as importantly, you'll help close the loop: identifying patterns, improving documentation, influencing product and operational improvements, and reducing future support volume through scalable fixes. The ideal candidate combines deep technical troubleshooting skills with systems thinking, operational maturity, and strong customer instincts. You'll partner closely with the Director of Support and cross-functional teams in Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales, bringing a practitioner's perspective to configuring and optimizing the systems the team relies on. WHAT YOU'LL DO Tier 2 Escalation & Technical Resolution - Own escalated Tier 2 technical cases across networking, firewall configuration, hardware troubleshooting, player setup, connectivity failures, and platform-level issues - Diagnose root cause through systematic troubleshooting and isolation techniques in complex customer environments - Escalate issues to Product and Engineering with clear reproduction steps, technical context, impact assessment, and supporting data - Identify recurring hardware or platform failure patterns and proactively surface trends and recommendations - Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers and internal stakeholders on status, timelines, and resolution paths - Meet SLA commitments for escalated tickets while proactively identifying and escalating risks - Participate in on-call rotation and provide occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage for enterprise escalations Enterprise & Strategic Account Support - Serve as a technical resource for enterprise and high-touch accounts with complex or customized environments - Support pilot and trial customers through technical validation, troubleshooting, and implementation guidance - Participate in customer calls, Slack channels, and cross-functional account reviews as needed - Partner with Customer Success and Sales to proactively identify technical risks and improve customer health AI Tooling, Support Operations & Workflow Optimization - Partner on the rollout, optimization, and administration of Zendesk AI Co-Pilot and related support tooling - Improve workflows related to intelligent triage, agent assist, automation, self-service, and support data hygiene - Bring a practitioner's perspective to support operations, tooling decisions, workflow design, and process scalability - Help define how AI can improve both customer experience and internal team efficiency Knowledge Management & Team Enablement - Build and maintain internal troubleshooting guides, escalation procedures, and operational playbooks - Author and improve Help Center content focused on high-volume technical issues - Act as a go-to technical resource for Tier 1 support - Coach team members through escalated cases by teaching diagnostic thinking and troubleshooting methodology — not just resolutions Data, Insights & Product Advocacy - Analyze escalation trends, technical themes, and failure patterns to identify product and operational improvement opportunities - Contribute insights and metrics to monthly Support reporting - Advocate for customer-impacting fixes and operational improvements with data-driven recommendations - Monitor proactively for emerging issue clusters before they create large-scale customer impact WHO YOU ARE - 3+ years in a Tier 2, escalation, or advanced technical support role within SaaS, IoT, AV, media technology, or related environments - Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, firewall configuration, and connectivity troubleshooting (required) - Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and device-level issues - Skilled at structured problem solving and systematic root-cause analysis - Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences - Experience with Zendesk or similar support platforms, including workflow configuration or administration - Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and cross-functional collaboration - Experience supporting enterprise or high-touch customer environments - Exposure to AI-enabled support tooling, automation workflows, or Copilot-style systems - Strong operational instincts with experience improving documentation, workflows, or support processes - Consistent track record of strong productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction performance - Exposure to audio engineering and/or AV installation is a plus, not required - Exposure to network rack installation is a plus, not required Occasional holiday coverage and on-call responsibilities are required.
