The Role We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Activation team — the team focused on helping more users successfully get started with Linktree, experience value quickly, and become engaged, retained users. You’ll lead a small, cross-functional engineering squad working at the heart of our growth funnel, partnering closely with Product, Design, and Data to identify opportunities, run experiments, and ship experiences that improve activation and drive meaningful user and business outcomes. This is a player-coach role for someone who enjoys staying close to the work. You’ll combine strong people leadership with hands-on technical contribution — guiding architecture, prototyping solutions, reviewing critical work, and writing code when it helps the team move faster. What You’ll Do Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering squad focused on improving activation and early user experiences. Stay hands-on technically , contributing code, prototyping solutions, and jumping into critical technical work when it helps unblock the team or accelerate delivery. Partner with Product, Design, and Data to identify opportunities, shape experiments, and translate ideas into pragmatic, scalable experiences. Connect engineering work to measurable outcomes , using data and experimentation to understand what improves activation, engagement, retention, and conversion. Drive technical excellence through thoughtful architecture, code reviews, testing practices, performance, and operational reliability. Set clear outcomes and prioritize effectively , helping the team navigate tradeoffs and consistently ship high-impact work at speed. Build for experimentation and iteration , enabling the team to test ideas quickly, learn from user behavior, and scale what works. Embed AI tooling and workflows to enhance developer productivity, prototyping, and delivery. Champion reliability , ensuring healthy on-call practices and continuous improvement in incident response. Who You Are Experienced in modern software development and architecture , with the technical depth to contribute hands-on and guide important engineering decisions. Proven track record leading engineers and shipping user-facing products , ideally in a consumer, product-led, growth, or highly metrics-driven environment. A true player-coach — you enjoy developing engineers while remaining close to the code and technical execution. Comfortable working with experimentation, analytics, and user insights to understand whether what you ship is actually driving impact. Strong product instincts and a collaborative approach to working with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering partners. Skilled at balancing speed, quality, and scalability , with strong judgment around scope, prioritization, and technical tradeoffs. Thoughtful and empathetic people leader who gives clear feedback, supports career development, and creates an environment where engineers can do their best work. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities with a bias toward action . Curious and AI-forward , actively using AI and automation to improve engineering velocity and effectiveness. Nice to Have Familiarity with parts of our stack: TypeScript, React, GraphQL, AWS, and PHP . Experience with growth, activation, experimentation, onboarding, or conversion-focused product surfaces . Experience working on high-scale consumer or product-led products . Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $220,000 - $250,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed. P.S. If you don’t tick every box in this listing, please don’t rule yourself out. We take pride in inclusion and hiring incredible human beings with great potential over ticking boxes – so if this role resonates with you, hit that apply button! The Role Reporting to our Chief of Staff, you’ll partner closely with Linktree’s CEO, Alex, to make sure he’s spending his time where it has the biggest impact, while everything around him runs smoothly. You’ll anticipate needs, solve problems before they become problems and create the headspace that lets Alex focus on leading Linktree. This is a strategic role. You’ll think about Alex’s priorities as much as his schedule: shaping his time against company goals, preparing him for the conversations that matter and tracking his commitments across the business. You’ll act as an extension of Alex and the Office of the Founders. Alongside this partnership, you’ll be an active member of our EA/EBP team, taking ownership of shared projects and helping bring company moments to life—from company and team offsites to Linkie Leaps and end-of-year get-togethers. You’ll enjoy wearing different hats, working with people across Linktree and getting stuck into the practical details that help the whole team deliver. You’ll own the foundations that let Alex operate at his best, including his calendar, travel and personal operations. You’ll use smart systems, AI and good delegation to keep these running reliably and make space for strategic work and shared projects. No two weeks look the same—and that’s what makes the role fun! What You’ll Own Executive Partnership Understand Alex’s priorities and the company’s, and use that context to decide what gets his time and what doesn’t. Protect his time, push back on low value requests and redirect them to the right person. Anticipate what’s coming, spot conflicts and risks early and bring Alex options. Be Alex’s first point of contact, handling requests with judgement and discretion. Stay closely aligned with the Chief of Staff so priorities and Alex’s calendar never drift apart. Calendar, Preparation and Follow-Through Own a dynamic calendar across multiple time zones, shaped around priorities rather than first come, first served. Make sure Alex walks into every meeting prepared, with the right context, documents and background on who he’s meeting. Capture actions from Alex’s meetings and follow up with owners so things move without him having to chase. Manage Alex’s inbox, triage what needs him and handle what doesn’t. Draft emails, slack posts and communications on Alex’s behalf, in his voice. Coordinate executive rhythms, approvals and recurring meetings so they run on time with the right inputs. Board, Leadership and External Commitments Coordinate Board meetings end to end, including scheduling, pack timelines and distribution. Organise leadership meetings, executive forums and offsites so every detail is handled. Manage Alex’s external commitments including YPO, speaking engagements and investor/partner meetings, with prep and follow up each one needs. Travel & Personal Operations Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, and adapt quickly when plans change. Manage logistics and itineraries. Support partner and family travel where required. Coordinate personal appointments around work commitments. Liaise with accountants and external advisers so invoices, tax obligations and financial admin stay on track. Handle the countless operational details that let Alex focus on leading the business. Office of Founders & Company Projects Collaborate with the EA/EBP team, Chief of Staff, management team and Head of People Experience to keep leaders connected, aligned and operating at their best. Take shared ownership of company and team projects, including all-company and team offsites, Linkie Leaps and end-of-year get-togethers. Lead agreed projects from planning through delivery, coordinating stakeholders, communications, logistics and follow-through. Contribute across executive support and company initiatives, supporting teammates during busy periods and balancing Alex’s priorities with shared commitments. Help shape an Executive Business Partner function that raises the bar for executive support. AI and Continuous Improvement Use AI every day to draft, prepare, summarise and reduce manual work. Build systems and templates that make Alex’s support more reliable and less reliant on effort. Challenge existing ways of working, and share what you learn across the EBP team. What You Bring 5+ years as an EA or EBP supporting a CEO, Founder or C-suite leader, ideally in a fast-growing tech company. Strong business sense. You understand what your executive is focused on and use that to prioritise. Sound judgement and the confidence to make calls and push back. Excellent written communication, with the ability to draft in an executive’s voice. Expert calendar, travel and logistics management across time zones. Calm under pressure, highly organised and comfortable with changing priorities, with a good sense of humour that helps keep things in perspective. Exceptional discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive business, personal and financial information. Experience with Google Workspace, Slack and AI tools that you already use to work smarter. Open to occasional travel to support Alex, leadership offsites and company events, with requirements discussed during the interview process. Bonus Points Experience coordinating Board meetings and investor facing commitments. Experience managing personal and family operations for a senior executive. You’ve built automations or AI workflows that others now rely on. Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed. P.S. The Role We’re looking for an FP&A Manager to own financial planning and analysis for a business that a community of 70+ million people now use, with 48,000 new accounts created every day. You’ll be the person the business turns to when it needs to know what the numbers mean — not just what they say. Working within Strategic Finance, you’ll own management accounts, team P&Ls, compensation and headcount modelling and the month-end process, while partnering daily with leaders across Product, Engineering, Marketing and People & Culture. It’s a broad remit with real autonomy: you’ll build the models, run the budget and reforecast cycles, review and improve our reporting in NetSuite, support investor reporting, and answer the questions that shape where we invest next. If you’d rather be close to the business than behind it, and you want your analysis to change decisions rather than describe them, this is the role for you. Most of all, you’ll help Linktree achieve our mission: to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe. What You’ll Own Own the monthly management accounts and month-end close process, partnering with the accounting team on accuracy and timeliness. Build and maintain team-level P&Ls so every pillar lead has a clear view of spend and performance against plan. Lead compensation and headcount modelling, partnering with People & Culture on hiring plans and their financial impact. Run the annual budget and quarterly reforecast cycles end-to-end, from driver assumptions through to executive sign-off. Review and improve financial data and reporting in NetSuite, driving automation and reducing manual effort. Deliver ad hoc and project modelling for strategic decisions — pricing, market expansion, business cases and scenario planning. Support investor and board reporting with accurate numbers and a clear narrative. Be the day-to-day finance partner for the business, fielding questions from leaders across every function. Who We’re Looking For 5–7 years in FP&A or commercial finance, ideally including a high-growth tech or SaaS business. CA/CPA or equivalent qualification, or a strong quantitative background in finance, accounting or economics. Advanced financial modelling — driver-based operating models, scenario and sensitivity analysis, headcount and compensation planning. Hands-on experience with an ERP (NetSuite preferred) and modern planning or BI tooling. Strong command of month-end and management reporting in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment. Proven business partnering skills — you can explain a variance to a non-finance leader and change what they do next. Comfortable with a broad remit and competing demands, prioritising across recurring cycles and ad hoc requests. Based in Melbourne or Sydney (or Australia-remote) with the right to work in Australia. Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. T P.S. The Role As Head of Operations Engineering at Linktree , you’ll shape how the company works and scales. You’ll combine operational expertise, technology and change management to help teams move faster, make better decisions and deliver more consistent outcomes. Your remit will span everything from transforming a team’s daily workflows to rethinking how the business plans, collaborates and executes. You’ll identify where work gets stuck, where automation can free up people’s time and where better systems can open up new possibilities. You’ll have the scope to uncover opportunities, build support across the business and take improvements from an idea through to lasting change. You’ll lead a small engineering team and own the internal platform and mission-critical tools that turn those opportunities into working solutions. Just as importantly, you’ll help teams build the skills and confidence to improve their own ways of working, making AI and automation part of everyday operations. This is an opportunity to make improvements that reach across Linktree: turning a successful change in one team into something the whole business can benefit from. You’ll stay close to the work, partner with people across functions and see your impact in what teams can achieve. What You’ll Own Find and prioritise opportunities. Work with teams to understand their goals and bottlenecks, and build a pipeline of improvements balanced across quick wins and larger bets — prioritised on impact, effort and risk. Redesign how work gets done. Partner with business leaders and process owners to improve workflows, clarify ownership and fix handovers, within and across teams. Deliver change end to end. Take initiatives from problem definition and business case through implementation, training and rollout — staying involved until new ways of working stick. Own our internal tooling platform. Set its direction and roadmap, build reusable capabilities, and make sound build/buy/integrate/retire calls. Own reliability, security, maintainability and cost. Run mission-critical systems. Keep the tooling teams like Customer Support depend on daily healthy and improving as their needs change. Help teams level up. Champion practical uses of AI and automation through coaching, training and reusable examples, with clear guidance on data handling and human oversight. Lead and measure. Develop your engineers and connect their work to operational priorities. Track turnaround time, manual effort, quality and adoption — and use the results to guide what’s next. Who We’re Looking For A track record in operational excellence. Experience improving how teams and businesses operate, with measurable gains in efficiency, speed and quality. You understand how people, processes and systems work together. Business process improvement experience. You can map workflows, identify bottlenecks and root causes, and prioritise opportunities based on business impact. You’ve redesigned processes within individual teams and across functions. Stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership. You work with business leaders and process owners to understand their needs, agree outcomes and develop solutions that combine process changes with technology. You build support, resolve competing priorities and establish clear ownership. Proven change management experience. You’ve led changes from initial engagement through communication, training, rollout and sustained adoption. You anticipate barriers, address resistance and help teams embed new ways of working. End-to-end delivery and continuous improvement. You take opportunities from discovery and business case through implementation and ongoing improvement. You define success, measure results and use feedback to refine the solution. Practical technology judgement. You understand how internal tools, integrations, automation and AI can improve operations. You can translate business needs into technical requirements and make informed decisions about what to build, buy or integrate. Hands-on leadership and coaching. You can lead a small engineering team, work closely with implementation and help colleagues across the business develop the skills to improve their own processes and tools. Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. P.S. If you don’t tick every box in this listing, please don’t rule yourself out. The Role We are looking for a Principal Product Designer to lead and grow a team of senior individual-contributor designers, shaping how creators discover, organize, and share content through Linktree. This is a player-coach role: you'll manage, coach, and develop a small team of senior designers while staying hands-on with design yourself, personally owning some of the hardest or most ambiguous problems. You'll set design vision and craft standards for your area, partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, and be accountable for both the quality of your team's work and your own. As the team scales, this role is on a path to grow into a broader leadership remit over time. As a member of the Design leadership team, you'll help define how Linktree scales design as the company grows. Why This Role Matters A consumer product at this scale is made or broken by design. The hard part isn't adding another pair of hands; it's the leadership to raise the whole team's ceiling — coaching senior designers, holding the craft bar, and turning scattered effort into shipped, coherent product. This role exists to be that multiplier: a player-coach close enough to the work to model the standard, and generous enough to grow the people who carry it. What You’ll Own Lead, manage, and develop a small team (3–5+) of senior IC designers through the work, creating a culture of craft, ownership, candid feedback, and high performance. Personally own and ship design work on the highest-leverage or most ambiguous problems. Set design vision and craft direction for your area, ensuring quality and consistency across your team's work. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing leaders to align design with business priorities. Own hiring and team composition for your area, adapting as the business and the team scale. Establish and evolve craft standards, critique practices, and design operating rhythms for the team. Represent design in cross-functional forums, translating design work into business impact. Balance individual craft contribution with management, modelling the standard you expect of the team. Who We’re Looking For 10+ years of design experience, including prior experience managing and growing individual contributors (managing managers is a plus, but not a requirement). A genuine player-coach — still hands-on and excellent at the craft, and energized by both doing the work and developing others. Proven track record of shipping high-quality design within a consumer product or creator / marketplace platform. Strong craft judgment and the ability to provide feedback that meaningfully elevates team work. Demonstrable proof of using AI as part of how you explore, prototype, communicate, and create. Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, develop, and retain strong individual-contributor designers, especially at the senior level. Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Marketing leaders. Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into a clear design direction. Comfort balancing personal craft work with team leadership, and good judgment on when to do versus delegate. Excellent written and verbal communication. Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $280,000 - $310,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. We’re a tight-knit, passionate team building best-in-class tools that make online presence simple, powerful, and yours. We work together flexibly and you can choose the setup that works best for you: fully remote or a hybrid mix of office and home. We offer autonomy in how you structure your days and weeks. View job postingDescription
The Role Linktree is used by 70 million people — from Sabrina Carpenter to the NFL to the person running a Pilates studio in Bondi. We're one of the top 300 most visited websites on the planet, with 1.2 billion unique visitors hitting Linktrees every month. Every one of those users found us somewhere, and increasingly, that somewhere is a paid ad you'd be responsible for. We're hiring a Senior Creative Strategist to own one of the biggest levers in our growth engine: the creative that drives paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. To be clear about what this is and isn't: This is not a brand campaign role. It's not a content calendar role. And you won't be executing pre-written briefs. This is creative strategy in service of growth — where you lead with data, audience insight, and sharp creative judgement to decide what we make, why we make it, and how we know it's working. You'll build structured testing roadmaps, write hooks and scripts, direct creators and agencies, and iterate fast to find the ads that scale. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Performance Marketing Specialists, where creative strategy and media buying are tightly integrated. As Linktree scales paid investment globally, your work will directly determine how efficiently every dollar performs." What You'll Own Creative strategy & testing: Develop performance-led creative briefs and structured testing roadmaps. Translate campaign data, audience behaviour, and platform trends into scalable concepts, then identify the winning hooks, angles, and formats worth scaling systematically. Scripting & production: Ideate and write high-converting direct-response scripts and hooks for short-form video, UGC, statics, and carousels. Direct creators, editors, and designers to bring the vision to life with strategic precision. Sprint ownership: Run the full cycle (hypothesis, brief, produce, launch, analyse, iterate) maintaining a predictable cadence of testable, high-quality assets across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google. Agency & partner management: Brief, manage, and hold accountable our creative agency and measurement partners. Set the bar, run feedback cycles, and make sure external output compounds our internal learnings rather than duplicating them. Performance & optimisation: Spot early performance signals, including hook winners, fatigue trends, and scaling opportunities. Use metrics (CTR, thumb-stop rate, hold rate, CVR, CAC) to make fast decisions and pivot when needed. Creator & UGC management: Own creator and UGC workflows end-to-end: coordination, briefs, asset intake, revisions, and approvals, for both internal partners and external creators. Creative insights library: Build and maintain a growing library of creative learnings and frameworks that makes the whole Growth organisation smarter over time. Cross-functional collaboration: Partner day-to-day with Performance Marketing Specialists, and regularly with CRO, Brand, Design, and Content to ensure creative strategy stays aligned with channel best practice and Linktree's identity, while always pushing for performance. What You'll Bring 4-6+ years in performance creative, paid social strategy, or growth marketing, with a portfolio of winning ads that shows clear creative contribution and measurable outcomes. A strong portfolio matters more to us than where you've worked. A copywriter at your core: you know how to sell, which angles convert, how to shift audience beliefs, and how to calibrate messaging across sophistication levels, from problem-unaware to ready-to-buy. Deep fluency in how Meta, TikTok, and YouTube algorithms behave, and how creative influences delivery, targeting, and in-platform performance. Proven experience scripting and producing high-converting direct-response video ads, including hands-on work with UGC, short-form video, and creator-led content. Strong testing instincts: you design experiments with clear hypotheses, read performance data to separate signal from noise, and turn insights into frameworks rather than one-off tweaks. Experienced in briefing and managing creative agencies, UGC creators, and measurement partners to a high standard with clear accountability. Comfortable using AI tools to move faster, generate variation, and extend your creative output without losing quality or judgment. A builder and a self-starter: you design the systems and processes that make the team smarter, not just the assets that feed this week's campaigns. Able to prioritise ruthlessly, push back on low-leverage work, and operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment. Nice to have Experience in SaaS, the creator economy, or multi-market acquisition campaigns. Knowledge of YouTube short-form and Google PMax creative formats. Experience localising creative for global markets. Comfortable filming and editing your own low-fi content (CapCut, iPhone, etc.) when speed matters. Why this role, why now Global scale, real budgets. You'll be working with a significant and growing paid media investment across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google, with the mandate to scale further. The creative decisions you make will directly determine how efficiently that budget performs. A team already in motion. You're not walking into a broken system. Our Growth team is already driving strong results and you're here to add fuel to the fire, not fix the engine. You'll hit the ground with talented performance specialists, agencies, designers, and strong cross-functional partners already aligned and moving. Interesting subject matter, clean economics. Linktree sits at the intersection of the creator economy and SaaS, which means your ads have genuine creative freedom (we're marketing to creators, after all), while the growth economics are clean and measurable. You'll always know if your creative is working. High autonomy, high visibility. This role operates at the strategic core of Growth Marketing, with direct visibility to senior leadership. Your work will shape how tens of millions of people first encounter Linktree. P.S. If you don’t tick every box in this listing, please don’t rule yourself out. We take pride in inclusion and hiring incredible human beings with great potential over ticking boxes – so if this role resonates with you, hit that apply button! Our Story We’re on a mission to empower anyone to curate, grow, and monetize their digital universe. We created the “link in bio” category — and we’re just getting started. From creators, artists, and entrepreneurs to global brands, we’re redefining how people connect with their communities, showcase their content and promote products — all in one link. Today, a community of 70+ million use Linktree, including icons like Adidas, TikTok, the UN Environmental Program, The NFL, Manchester United, World Central Kitchen, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Selena Gomez. With 48,000 new accounts created every day, Linktree is the fastest-growing leader in our space. We’ve teamed up with some of the world’s biggest platforms including TikTok, Snap, YouTube, GoFundMe, Spotify, Google, Stripe, Reddit, Laylo, and Kajabi, to unify Linkers’ digital spaces, and we partner with retail brands Amazon, Nike, Nordstrom, Target, Sephora, Vuori, and more to share products they love. We’re a tight-knit, passionate team building best-in-class tools that make online presence simple, powerful, and yours. If you're excited by the idea of shaping a new category, setting the standard, and making space for everyone to be seen and succeed, we’d love to meet you. Where and How We Work We're a global, diverse team spread across continents with offices in London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, and San Francisco. We offer autonomy in how you structure your days and weeks. While we’re mindful of time zones and occasionally collaborate outside the typical 9–5, we lean into async work to keep things flowing. Our culture is family-friendly and video-casual where kids, pets, and delivery drivers are welcome. How we’ll help you thrive Our approach to benefits considers the whole person and the unique contributions they bring to Linktree. We want the experience at Linktree to be one that enables people to truly thrive so we can Go Further Together (one of our values). Some ways we support you: An annual wellbeing allowance to use on things like (but not limited to) fitness memberships, development courses, childcare, travel, charitable donations, pet insurance, home office set-up - the choice is yours! 100% coverage (and 80% for your dependents) of your monthly premiums for medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance for US-based employees. Employer contribution towards your retirement. Generous time off for vacation, holidays, parental leave, volunteer time, and other categories. Employee stock option program - we want each and every employee to share in the company’s success. At Linktree, we believe in promoting a culture that celebrates unique backgrounds, talents, and experiences, and we’re proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are creating an inclusive workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and has equal opportunities to thrive. We aim to foster a diverse and inclusive environment where all team members have a sense of belonging. Linktree welcomes all people regardless of sex, gender identity, race, ethnicity, disability, pregnancy, age, or other lived experience. If you require accommodations to fully participate in our opportunities, please don't hesitate to reach us at talent@linktr.ee – your needs are important to us.

- Senior Creative Strategist

- Description
- The Role Linktree is used by 70 million people — from Sabrina Carpenter to the NFL to the person running a Pilates studio in Bondi. The Role We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Linkapps squad, the squad building the integrations that let creators bring the rest of their digital world into their Linktree. Every app that plugs into a Linktree - the music player, the store, the mailing list signup, the ticket link - runs on the systems this team builds. You will work across the full stack, designing and shipping the services, APIs and product surfaces behind those integrations. That means a lot of time in other people's APIs and SDKs: reading partner contracts closely, building integrations that hold up when someone else's service does not, and knowing when a pattern is worth generalising and when it is better to just ship the thing. It is hands-on IC work in a small distributed squad, close to the partners and close to what creators actually see. With 70+ million people using Linktree and 48,000 new accounts created every day, the surfaces you build reach an enormous and varied audience - and the integrations you ship are often the reason someone’s Linktree becomes the one link that does everything. Most of all, you’ll help Linktree achieve our mission: to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe. What You’ll Own Design, build and ship full-stack features across the Linkapps surface, from the partner-facing services through to what the creator actually sees. Own third-party integrations end-to-end: evaluate the partner’s API or SDK, design the integration, ship it, and keep it healthy in production. Ship inside our composable Link Apps system, and improve it where you hit its edges, so that the next integration costs less than the last one did without turning every integration into a platform project. Design and maintain the services, APIs and cloud infrastructure behind these experiences, with real attention to auth, rate limits, versioning and graceful degradation. Partner with product, design and partnerships to work out what’s technically feasible with a given partner and where the creator value actually sits. Instrument what you ship and use the data to decide what to fix, cut or double down on. Bring AI into how you build, and where it earns its place, into the integrations themselves. Contribute to a strong engineering culture in a small, distributed squad - clear writing, good reviews, and leaving the codebase better than you found it. Who We’re Looking For 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production full-stack features. Solid full-stack skills across our core stack (TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, AWS), with the ability to move end-to-end on a feature. Meaningful experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs - you’ve owned an integration in production and dealt with the auth, rate limits, versioning and outages that come with it. Comfortable working in a large, established codebase you did not write, with the judgment to know what is safe to change. Experience designing services and APIs within cloud-based, service-oriented architectures. Fluency with AI-assisted development (e.g. Claude, Cursor, Codex), including how to prompt, iterate, validate and refine what these tools produce. Comfortable with ambiguity: you can take a loosely defined partner opportunity and turn it into a shipped, measured feature. A high standard for craft. You notice the empty state, the error message and the loading flicker without being asked. A clear, async-first communicator who works well with product, design, partnerships and business stakeholders, and teammates across time zones. Based in Australia (Melbourne, Sydney or remote) preferred Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. P.S. If you don’t tick every box in this listing, please don’t rule yourself out. The Role We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Grow – Insights, the team that turns the raw signal from 70+ million Linktree profiles into something creators can act on. Insights spans the analytics surfaces inside the Linktree admin, the AI-powered insights chat that helps Linkers understand what’s working, and the social integrations that bring YouTube, TikTok and Instagram performance data into one place. As a full-stack engineer on this team, you’ll work the whole path: instrumenting the events that capture how visitors interact with a Linktree, shaping how those events are ingested and aggregated, exposing them through our GraphQL API, and building the surfaces where creators see and act on them. You’ll partner closely with product, design and data to decide what is worth measuring, and you’ll be hands-on across TypeScript, React, Node and AWS. This is a role for someone who likes being close to both the data and the person reading it. Every insight you ship changes how a creator understands their audience, and helps Linktree achieve our mission: to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe. What You’ll Own Build and ship the analytics surfaces creators use to understand their audience, from the Insights page through to the AI-powered insights chat. Own the path a metric takes end-to-end: client instrumentation, event ingestion, aggregation, the GraphQL API, and the interface that renders it. Extend the social platform integrations that bring YouTube, TikTok and Instagram performance data into Linktree. Partner with product, design and data to decide what is worth measuring, then turn that into a prioritised technical plan. Keep insight data trustworthy: attribution, data quality, plan-tier entitlements, and the checks that catch problems before creators do. Bring AI into how you build, and into the product where it helps a creator make sense of their numbers. Improve the reliability, performance and observability of the systems behind Insights, and mentor peers as the team grows. Who We’re Looking For 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally including time on a product, analytics or data-facing team. Solid full-stack skills across our core stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL and AWS, with the ability to move across layers to ship a feature end-to-end. Comfortable with data: SQL, data modelling, event schemas, and working with warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery. Experience designing and integrating APIs and third-party services, ideally including social or platform APIs. Fluency with AI-assisted development (Claude, Cursor, Codex and similar), including how to prompt, validate and refine what these tools produce. A product instinct for what is worth measuring, and comfort interpreting data to make decisions rather than waiting to be told. Clear communicator who works well with product, design and data partners across Melbourne, Sydney and other time zones. Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. P.S. If you don’t tick every box in this listing, please don’t rule yourself out. - Description
- The Role We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Grow – Insights, the team that turns the raw signal from 70+ million Linktree profiles into something creators can act on. We’ve teamed up with some of the world’s biggest platforms including TikTok, Snap, YouTube, GoFundMe, Spotify, Google, Stripe, Reddit, Laylo, and Kajabi, to unify Linkers’ digital spaces, and we partner with retail brands Amazon, Lululemon, Nike, Target, Sephora, Lululemon, and more to share products they love. We work together flexibly and you can choose the setup that works best for you: fully remote or a hybrid mix of office and home. We offer autonomy in how you structure your days and weeks. While we’re mindful of time zones and occasionally collaborate outside the typical 9–5, we lean into async work to keep things flowing. Our culture is family-friendly and Zoom-casual where kids, pets, and delivery drivers are welcome. How we’ll help you thrive Our approach to benefits considers the whole person and the unique contributions they bring to Linktree. Employer contribution towards your retirement. Generous time off for vacation, holidays, parental leave, volunteer time, and other categories. Employee stock option program - we want each and every employee to share in the company’s success. We are creating an inclusive workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and has equal opportunities to thrive. We aim to foster a diverse and inclusive environment where all team members have a sense of belonging. The Role We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Auth team — the group that owns how 70+ million people get into Linktree and stay safely signed in. Authentication is the first thing every Linker touches and the one surface that has to work every single time, across social login, email, sessions, tokens and the business-account access that sits on top of them. You’ll work the whole path: the login and signup flows creators see, the services and APIs behind them, the session and token lifecycle, and the observability that tells us something is wrong before a Linker does. You’ll be hands-on across TypeScript, Node, React and AWS, and you’ll partner closely with Product, Security and the platform teams to decide where to harden, where to simplify, and where a small change in friction moves conversion for tens of millions of people. This is a role for someone who likes owning a critical, unglamorous surface and making it excellent. Every improvement you ship removes a reason someone can’t get to their own digital presence — and helps Linktree achieve our mission: to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe. What You’ll Own Build and ship the authentication and identity experiences Linkers touch first: signup, login, social auth, account recovery and multi-factor. Own the services behind them end-to-end — session and token lifecycle, revocation, rate limiting, and the APIs other squads depend on. Partner with Security to harden the auth surface, and with Product to keep friction honest so login conversion improves rather than degrades. Extend identity and access for business accounts and Workspaces, including the path toward SSO. Keep the surface observable: instrumentation, alerting and dashboards that catch auth failures before Linkers report them. Bring AI into how you build, and use it to move faster on migrations, tests and investigation. Raise the bar around you through review, pairing and documentation, and mentor engineers as the Auth team grows. Who We’re Looking For 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally including time on an auth, identity, platform or payments-adjacent team. Solid full-stack skills across our core stack: TypeScript, Node.js , React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL and AWS, with the ability to move across layers to ship a feature end-to-end. Working knowledge of authentication and identity fundamentals: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWTs, session management, MFA and the common attack classes. Experience shipping changes to a high-traffic, critical path safely — feature flags, staged rollouts, migrations and backwards compatibility. Fluency with AI-assisted development (Claude, Cursor, Codex and similar), including how to prompt, validate and refine what these tools produce. A pragmatic instinct for balancing security against user experience, and the confidence to make that trade-off explicit with Product and Security. Clear communicator who works well with product, design and security partners across Melbourne, Sydney and other time zones. Able to work from our Melbourne or Sydney office on a hybrid basis. Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed. P.S. The Role As Senior Product Manager for Link Apps & Integration, you’ll own the ecosystem that connects Linktree to the rest of the internet — the integrations, embeds and partner surfaces that let 70+ million creators and businesses bring their music, storefronts, videos and communities into a single link. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Link Apps engineering squad, design and our partnerships team to decide which integrations we build, how deeply we build them, and how we turn a catalogue of connections into a platform that compounds. We’ve already partnered with TikTok, Snap, YouTube, Spotify, Stripe and Amazon — your job is to make that ecosystem worth more than the sum of its logos. Most of all, you’ll help Linktree achieve our mission: to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe. What You’ll Own Own the strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for Link Apps and third-party integrations. Decide which integrations we build, deepen or sunset — and own the criteria behind those calls. Partner with the Link Apps engineering squad to ship reliable, well-instrumented integrations against third-party APIs and SDKs. Work with Partnerships and Business Development to turn partner relationships into shipped creator value. Define the metrics that matter for the ecosystem — adoption, activation and retention lift per Link App — and hold the team to moving them. Run an experimentation cadence that turns hypotheses about discovery, setup and usage into shipped improvements. Improve the partner and developer experience so each new integration gets faster to build than the last. Influence senior stakeholders and adjacent product teams to align on ecosystem priorities. Who We’re Looking For 4–5+ years of product management experience, including hands-on ownership of platform, API or third-party integration products. A track record of shipping integrations or partner surfaces that moved meaningful adoption, engagement or revenue metrics. Technical fluency — you reason confidently about APIs, SDKs, auth flows and partner constraints, and you’re credible in conversation with engineers. Strong data fluency — comfortable with funnels, cohort analysis and A/B testing, and able to separate signal from noise. Experience working alongside partnerships or business development teams, balancing partner asks against creator value. You partner effectively with engineering, design, data and marketing, and influence without formal authority. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and use build-measure-learn cycles to ship and iterate. You’re comfortable working across US and AU time zones, remote or hybrid from one of our offices. Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The Role As Senior Mobile Product Manager, you’ll own the strategy and roadmap for Linktree’s native iOS and Android apps — the experience tens of millions of creators and businesses use to manage their digital presence on the go. You’ll move mobile beyond feature parity with web and grow its contribution to the business. As a member of the Product team, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the mobile designer and engineering team to develop a mobile strategy outside of performance and feature-parity work — accelerating mobile’s contribution to the 2026 financial model through thoughtful, mobile-native product bets. Most of all, you’ll help Linktree achieve our mission: to empower anyone to curate, grow, and monetize their digital universe — making sure the mobile experience is one creators love to come back to. What You’ll Own Own the strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for Linktree’s native mobile apps (iOS and Android). Define the mobile metrics that matter and hold the team accountable to moving them. Partner closely with the mobile designer and engineering team to ship high-quality, mobile-native experiences. Run an experimentation cadence — forming hypotheses, designing tests, and turning results into shipped improvements. Translate user research and behavioural data into a prioritised, defensible mobile roadmap. Develop a mobile strategy beyond feature parity that grows mobile’s contribution to the business. Influence senior stakeholders and adjacent teams to align on mobile priorities. Who We’re Looking For 4–5+ years of product management experience, including hands-on ownership of native mobile (iOS/Android) products. A track record of shipping mobile features that moved meaningful business or engagement metrics. Strong data fluency — comfortable with funnels, cohort analysis and A/B testing, and able to separate signal from noise. Deep user empathy and the ability to translate research and behaviour into a prioritised mobile roadmap. You partner effectively with engineering, design, data and marketing, and influence without formal authority. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and use build-measure-learn cycles to ship and iterate. You can work from our Los Angeles or San Francisco office on a hybrid basis. Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $180,000 - $210,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. We’re a tight-knit, passionate team building best-in-class tools that make online presence simple, powerful, and yours. If you're excited by the idea of shaping a new category, setting the standard, and making space for everyone to be seen and succeed, we’d love to meet you.
