Allyson JoyEmergency Manager
  • As printed Allyson Joy is the campus Emergency Manager. She has been with the University Police Department since 2015 and is responsible for emergency preparedness initiatives such as drills and training exercises, as well as providing safety trainings to student groups and staff departments. She oversees the campus Emergency Operations Center which is activated to support critical incidents and coordinates UPD’s R.A.D. Women’s Self-Defense class. Allyson previously worked for the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region where she first gained experience in preparedness training and local and national disaster response. She is most passionate about training others how they can be better prepared for themselves and their loved ones in the event of an emergency.
